ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday night. ANP President Asfandyar Wali and Chief Minister NWFP, Amir Haider Khan Hoti were also present during the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail the upcoming joint session of the parliament which has been called for the in camera briefing to the parliament about the law and order situation in the country.
The Chief Minister NWFP briefed the meeting about the law and order situation in his province and various measures taken by NWFP government to check the trend of terrorism and extremism.
The meeting also discussed the role of law enforcement and intelligence agencies to pro-actively control the law and order situation and curbing the menace of terrorism in the country.
